Ms. H | CEO & Founder
Harvard University, Princeton University
Ms. Helena (“H”) is an education and policy leader with over 10 years of experience across teaching, edtech startups, and government consulting. A Harvard and Princeton PPIA alumna, she has led high-impact initiatives including spearheading a nationwide, World Bank-funded education data collection program in Sierra Leone, designing soft skills curricula for ALX, and building learning and professional development tools for the Islamic Development Bank. As CEO, she is focused on translating rigorous education design into scalable, real-world learning impact.




Ms. Tia | Head of Math
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Ms. Tia is a math and engineering educator with a strong foundation in robotics and applied mathematics. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) with a minor in Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has built systems at innovative startups including Zipline and Dishcraft, including designing an NSF-compliant robotic system approved by the National Science Foundation. With over five years of teaching experience across elementary to high school levels, she specializes in turning advanced engineering and math concepts into rigorous, engaging curricula.
Ms Kayla | Lead Storytelling Coach
Stanford University
Kayla is a passionate storytelling & speaker coach who has worked with 20+ TED & TEDx speakers across topics in science, health, tech & social impact. Having given a commencement speech at her Stanford graduation, She’s supported speakers for TEDxKitisuru, TEDxWestlands Salon & currently serves as the lead storytelling coach for TEDxNairobi. She’s especially looking forward to working with the TEDxNairobi Youth speakers this year to help bring their ideas to life on stage.
Ms. Melvin | Founding AI & STEM Instructor
ALX, Egerton University
Ms. Melvin is the Founding Instructor for AI & STEM at Learning Sprouts (School of AI arm), where she designs and delivers rigorous, accessible STEM education for young learners. She holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science and Technology from Egerton University and has completed advanced training in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence through ALX, HackBio, and Harvard-affiliated programs. Her professional experience includes research and data science roles with HackBio, Ocena, Computer Science Academy Africa, BioinformHer, and the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI), where she worked across bioinformatics, oncology research, genomics, and large-scale data analysis projects. She is passionate about equipping students with practical AI skills while building strong STEM foundations for the next generation of African innovators.


Ms. Sandra | Design & Community Lead
University Of Nairobi
Ms. Sandra is the Design & Community Lead at Learning Sprouts, where she oversees community engagement, partnerships, and business development initiatives. With a background in design and experience working across educational consultancy and program operations, she serves as a key liaison between schools, parents, learners, and strategic partners. Sandra leads stakeholder relationships, supports program growth through partnerships and outreach, and shapes how Learning Sprouts presents itself to its learning community, ensuring strong connections, clear communication, and meaningful collaboration.
Ms Liliane | Lead Organizer, TEDx Nairobi Youth
Ms. Liliane is a visionary creator of impactful experiences, with over a decade of expertise in event planning. She has played a pivotal role in TEDx events, including organizing TEDxKitisuru , TEDxNairobi and contributing to TEDxWestgate Salon. In addition, Liliane has been passionately curating cultural events for the past three years, celebrating and promoting one country’s culture at a time. Her dedication to crafting memorable and meaningful experiences shines through every project she undertakes.
Mr David | Math & Science Instructor
Kenyatta University
Mr. David is a seasoned mathematics and science educator with over 10 years of experience in private tutoring, high school instruction, and academic program development. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Pure Mathematics & Chemistry) from Kenyatta University and has a strong track record of helping students excel in Mathematics and the Sciences, with many earning government scholarships and progressing to higher education. An accomplished mathematician, he won multiple mathematics competitions during his high school and university years and has also led community-based education initiatives and mentorship programs focused on academic excellence and long-term student success.
